For this step of the Clue project, I observed the Starbucks in the library on [[#|campus]]. While sitting in at the table in a small chair, listening in on conversations, orders being made, and watching what people were doing. I was being pretty much creepy. I sat right in front of the cashier at my very own special table. Throughout the half hour, 30 people came in all ordering the same types of drinks and snacks. I noticed what people were ordering, most people ordered Fraps of all different kinds. The frap people were ordering the most was the Double Chocolate Chip Frap, and also alot of people seemed to love the Carmel ones. Usually, the fraps were only being ordered in a size Tall. Also, since it was a very cold day out today, about 15 people ordered just plain hot coffee and added there own personal creme and sugar. The most popular drink is the Pumpkin spice which is everyone's favorite drink of the fall season. I noticed some people paying with Starbucks gift cards, but most people pay using Flex and Husky Gold. I noticed people sitting at the tables either studying, on their laptops, or having conversations over their coffee and muffins. My observation about being in Starbucks for a long time is that most people who walk in to Starbucks are usually in a rush. They have somewhere to be, or they are coming from somewhere. Most people came from the library meaning they must be taking a break from their studies.
